WRITE WHILE TRAVELING
Writing, imprinting on an moleskine an event, a sensation, a place.
I composed a diary for every trip, where I wrote down what I saw through writing.I have told the places with our eyes. I have written about particular places where you should go at least once.Of course they are only fragments of life, crumbs that can enrich a trip even just by reading.

THROW AN OKKIO
.... if you have come up to here, we thank you with this latest gem.Take a look inside this room and you will find little stories from our life.
This year we want to spend our holidays by putting our skin in the sun.
We booked a bungalow in Torre del Porticciolo near Alghero, the Coral coast.
It is 4:46 pm on Saturday June 26, 2004, we take the highway towards Genoa.
Finally it's 8.30 pm and Tirrenia starts to roll away from the dock.
I had never taken a ship. The travel method is called: "bridge passage", it is an alternative and unpredictable way of traveling. In practice we do not have a cabin, but we will bivouac on the sofas and chairs until tomorrow morning in Porto Torres. In the night I have accumulated a great deal of cold, the air conditioning is on, and it is blowing heavily in the semi-empty salons.
Sunday 27 June
We arrived we can access to take the car, and we take to Stintino. It is the first time that we go to Sardinia. There is only one road and and the landscape is different from our Lombard one, you can see the Mediterranean vegetation, Agave, Bouguanville, Oleandri, how wonderful, are those trees that we can not grow outdoors, but only in greenhouses. Very beautifull. Here is Stintino, how wonderful the beach, the sand the blue expanse. After this first glance we take Alghero, Capo Caccia and finally Porticciolo campsite. In the afternoon we leave our footprints on the beach, it is private, it is a quiet loop only for us, there are not many people, it is a quiet place. In the evening we eat pizza on the campsite then a plate of prawns house wine two coffees and a myrtle, all in all passable, and certainly less expensive than Milan, we pay 35 euros.
Monday June 28
Breakfast under our gaze looking at the sea, splendid. Then to go for a shopping trip to Sassari, we buy the prawns and in the evening we do them on the grill, good.
Tuesday 29 June
Here comes the beach life, do not worry we head to our private bay and stay until noon, after swimming we go up and after a refreshing shower and creamed and a frugal snack, we go to Alghero. We want to rent a motorbike, we take a maxi scooter, so we start the visit in the surrounding area, we make an above place to the caves of Neptune, it is late we will return, then a visit to Alghero with dinner included, and finally on the cliff to see the sunset, wonder.
Wednesday 30 June
No beach because yesterday we got a little flushed and then a motorcycle ride to Porto Torres to book the return, then a stroll in Porto Conte, this too is a crazy, beautiful cove.
Thursday 1st July
We relax on the campsite.
Friday 2nd July
We put on the helmets and head for the Grotte di Nettuno, (11 euros per person) just for the crossing it is worth the trip, at the sea you can see all the hidden gorges and coves, accessible only from the water.
There is the Punta di Cristallo which points sheer above the sea, it seems the French Etretat. We go down on a mobile bridge, on the right, tells us the guide that you can reach the cave on foot, along 524 steps, in fact we see many people going up and down. What courage. The cave costs (10 euros per person). The visit lasts about 40 minutes and it is better to bring a waterproof hat and a pair of comfortable shoes.
Saturday 3rd July
Rest, because as usual yesterday's sun burned us and therefore covered us in the shade.
Sunday 4th July
We want to visit Lake Baratz, we travel miles and miles in the void, not a car or a house, all barren, we get to the lake here nature wins, it is the mistress, the inhabitants are just white-billed ducks that run around. We make a turn towards L'Argentiera we go down to the coves, cute little ones, fortunately on the motorbike, so you can fully enjoy the beautiful day.
Monday 5th July
Today towards Santa Teresa di Gallura, on the way back we stop at Castel Sardo, an interesting castle museum.
Tuesday 6 July
Spiaggetta Speranza, it is very convenient to ride a motorbike, you can always find a place, everywhere, and sometimes you don't even pay for parking, excellent. After a bath and a bit of sun we go towards
the lake of Temo, we go up we bend and then we go up nobody, also here kilometers without a soul
the lake is immaculate and untouched, now towards Bosa, then tired at home.
Wednesday 7 July
the curiosity is to see the hairy and the hairy. Again we are happy to have the bike, so we can park more easily. Beautiful the sea is just emerald, the sun is warm, but the air makes you appreciate the heat. Since we are not too beach types we decide to deepen our knowledge of Argentiera, we go all the way down to where we find an abandoned mine, closed since 1964, now there are many projects, one of all is to restructure it and make it visible to the public. Since it is the last day with the motorbike we want to spend it walking and having dinner in Alghero, how wonderful, even the stalls along the walls, I have no words and, because you have to see it and live it. Thursday 8 July after returning the motorbike we go to visit the cellars of Selle E Mosca, and buy the white wine, impressive, elegant, but the wine costs less at the supermarket.
Friday 9 July
We go to Olbia to see the boarding for home, then Porto Cervo, with all its jot and gigantic motorboats well aligned in the marina. Porto Rotondo, we sell in the famous small square signed by Versace and Armani, all tiled, the white marble arcades shine in the July sun. We stop
at the pier because there is a regatta of vintage sailing ships. Wonderful day in the world of the rich.
Saturday 10 July
stayed in the camp to prepare and clean, tomorrow unfortunately ends this
dream, we have to go home.
Sunday 11 July
We are sorry, we really enjoyed this stay, people are affable, kind, clean, wonderful places, and life is slower. With the Moby Drea that we take in Olbia we make the crossing with disembarkation, after a couple of hours waiting offshore because of an oil tanker that had hit a pier, in Livorno. While waiting, the ship was pitching a lot and several people were sick, luckily we arrived without it
aches and pains of any kind.
